In this present study, we determined that B. thetaiotaomicron can alleviate colonic inflammation through mechanisms associated with the modulation of tryptophan metabolism and T cell subsets within inflamed intestinal tissues. Specifically, we found that B. thetaiotaomicron promotes the preferential differentiation of antiinflammatory Treg/Th2 cells while suppressing the relative differentiation of pro-inflammatory Th1/Th17 cells, thereby decreasing inflammation within the colon. At a molecular level, B. thetaiotaomicron treatment was linked to altered CpG methylation within the Foxp3 promoter that was associated with enhanced Treg cell functionality. In a murine dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) colitis model system, B. thetaiotaomicron increased the levels of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) ligands indole metabolites-indole acetic acid (IAA) and indole propionic acid (IPA), thereby increasing AHR activation that is related to changes of transcription factor expression profiles within T cells. In summary, our data suggest that B. thetaiotaomicron can activate AHR and modulate CD4(+) T cell differentiation profiles in a murine DSS colitis model system, suggesting that this bacterium may be of therapeutic relevance for the treatment of IBD.yy

In recent decades effective regulatory role of phytohormones in plants in response to salinity has received considerable attention. Treatments detail is as under: – (A). Amendments 1: gypsum @ 50% GR, 2: without gypsum, (B). Plant hormones T-1: control, T-2: SA @10(-5) M, T-3: L-TRP @10(-5) M, T-4: SA + L-TRP (each @10(-5 )M in 1:1). Results indicated that growth and yield parameters were higher in T4 (SA+L-TRP @ 10(-5) M in 1:1 ratio) with gypsum application @ 50% of GR. Individual application of either salicylic acid (SA) or L-tryptophan (L-TRP) improved the yield in comparison to control but the effect was more remarkable with their combined application. Post-harvest soil analysis clearly demonstrated that gypsum application improved the physical and chemical properties when compared to without application of gypsum. Results highlighted that salinity tolerance of wheat crop was increased in most of the studied parameters when these plant hormones were applied in combination, indicating a positive interaction between salicylic acid and L-tryptophan in salinized conditions.

SYNTHESIS OF DIBENZO[cd, g]INDOLE

In this paper, a synthesis method is proposed and discussed for a compound not previously described – dibenzo [cd, g] indole. For the successful synthesis of the target compound we used the classical method based on well-known procedure of indoles obtaining according to Fisher method with some changes. Commercially available derivatives of anthracene were used as the starting compound since they already contain a ready-made system of three condensed aromatic rings and they reaction activity is rather high. The corresponding diazonium salt was obtained from 9-amino anthracene by reaction with ethyl nitrite. Attempts to obtain the diazonium salt by reaction the amine with inorganic nitrites in an acidic aqueous medium did not lead to a product with an acceptable yield. 9-Antryl hydrazine was prepared by reducing the diazonium salt under mild conditions. Reduction was carried out using sulfur dioxide in aqueous sodium hydrosulfite. Formaldehyde of 9-anthrylhydrazone was obtained from anthrylhydrazine after condensation with paraformaldehyde. The target product was obtained by intramolecular cyclization of hydrazone under the action of BF3 * Et2O under the condition of high dilution and low temperature. The physicochemical characteristics of all the obtained compounds are determined. Melting point was determined on a Stuart SMP-30 instrument. IR spectra were recorded on a Nicolet 380 FT-IR spectrometer in tablets with potassium bromide. NMR spectra were recorded on a Bruker DRX-400 spectrometer (400 MHz), Me4Si was used as a H-1 standard, in CDCl3 as a solvent. Elemental analysis was performed on a EuroEA 3000 analyzer. Based on the data from the above analysis methods, it was concluded that the proposed structures correspond to the real ones.
